Al Khadra Partners, meaning "The Green Partners" is committed to accelerating the region’s energy transition and advancing carbon-neutral future.  With a strategic focus on renewable and low carbon energy initiatives across the Middle East, AKP invests in and develops a diverse portfolio of clean-energy solutions. Our activities span across solar, battery storage, onshore wind, power-to-X technologies, and sustainable mobility solutions. Guided by Sheikha Hind Bahwan’s vision, AKP aims to deliver impactful, future-ready projects that contribute to national climate goals, strengthen energy security, and support long-term socio-economic development. Through disciplined investment, strong partnerships, and execution excellence, AKP is shaping a resilient and sustainable energy ecosystem for the region.

Together with its partners, Al Khadra Partners is currently developing a portfolio of over multi-gigawatt renewable energy and Power-to-X assets, including:

• 4.5GW Power-to-X project in Oman together with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Blue Power Partners (both from Denmark), that will deliver 210KTPA of green hydrogen which will be integrated into low carbon steel manufacturing. The project is located in the Al Wusta region of Oman close to the strategic Port of Duqm.
• 500MW Solar PV combined with 100MWh battery energy storage system developed together with Masdar, KOMIPO and OQAE in Ibri region of Oman. The project is expected to be fully functional and supplying power to grid by April 2027
• 120MW Wind Project developed together with EDF renewables and OQAE in Jalan Bani Buali region of Oman. The project is expected to be fully functional and supplying power to grid by July 2027
